Forge Studio — Terms of Service

Last updated: 10 June 2026

1. Who we are

Forge is a service operated by Jobmining AI Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales.

  • Company registration number (CRN): 17160934
  • Registered office: 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX
  • Website: forgestudio.uk
  • Contact email: hello@forgestudio.uk

In these Terms, "Forge Studio", "we", "us" and "our" mean Jobmining AI Ltd. "You" and "your" mean the person or business using the service.

These Terms are a legal agreement between you and us. By creating an account, using the free chat, or paying for any stage of the service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them before you sign in or pay. If you do not agree, please do not use Forge Studio.

2. What Forge Studio is

Forge Studio helps you plan, build, deploy and fully own your own working AI agent, with step-by-step guidance and as little technical knowledge as possible.

In plain terms: we guide you through the journey, and the actual building is done on your own computer using your own copy of the AI provider's coding tool (currently Anthropic's "Claude Code"). When the work is finished, the agent and everything needed to run it belong to you.

Forge Studio provides guidance, structure, and a place to do the work. Forge Studio does not promise that any particular idea can be built, that a built agent will achieve any specific commercial result, or that it will be free of all errors.

3. Your account and signing in

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Forge Studio.
  • Signing in uses your email and a one-time code (a short code we email you). There is no password. Keep access to your email secure, because anyone with your email access could receive your sign-in code.
  • You agree to give accurate information and to keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.

4. The free chat (taster)

We offer a limited free chat so you can try Forge Studio before paying. The free chat:

  • gives a high-level, general sense of whether an idea looks workable, and helps you understand the journey;
  • is not a substitute for the paid Planning stage, which is where your idea is properly shaped;
  • is limited to a set number of questions, which we may change;
  • runs at our cost, and we may change, limit, or withdraw it at any time.

5. Your AI provider account and API key

Forge Studio runs on a third-party AI provider (currently Anthropic's "Claude"). For the paid Planning and Build stages, and for your finished agent, you use your own account and your own API key with that provider (an API key is the access code that lets the AI run on your account).

  • You set up your own account with the AI provider and add your key to Forge Studio as part of getting started.
  • You pay the AI provider directly for the AI usage on your key. Those costs are separate from Forge Studio's fees and are not included in them. Forge Studio never receives that money.
  • You are responsible for keeping your key topped up and for the usage on it. If your key runs out of credit, the service that depends on it will pause until you top it up.
  • We store your key in encrypted form and do not use it for anything other than running your own work. We keep our own activity (for example the free chat) strictly separate from your key.

6. Fees and payment

Forge Studio charges a flat service fee, split into two separate stages:

  • a Planning fee, and
  • a Build fee.

These are two distinct fees. Paying for Planning does not pay for, or commit you to, Build.

  • The current prices and the currency are shown on our Pricing page. The price that applies to you is the price shown at the time you pay.
  • Prices do not include any taxes. Any tax, duty, or similar charge that applies in your own country is your responsibility; where we are required to collect a tax, it will be shown at checkout.
  • Payments are taken securely through a payment provider (currently Stripe). By paying, you authorise the charge for the stage you are buying.
  • We may change our prices from time to time, but a change never affects a stage you have already paid for.
  • Any discount or invitation code you use will be applied at checkout.

7. Starting work, and your right to cancel

Some countries give consumers (individuals buying for personal use) a "cooling-off" right to cancel an online purchase within a short period and get a refund. In the UK and the EU, for example, this is normally 14 days.

Because the Planning stage begins as soon as you start, we will ask you, at checkout, to agree that the work starts straight away and to acknowledge that, once it has started, you give up any such change-of-mind right to cancel. Once you have started the Planning stage, that change-of-mind right no longer applies.

If your country gives you a cooling-off right and you do not agree to start straight away, the Planning stage will not begin until that period has passed.

This affects only the "change of mind" right. It does not affect your right to a refund if we fail to deliver what we promised (see section 8), and it does not remove any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of your own country.

If you are buying as a business, cooling-off rights do not normally apply, and your cancellation rights are only those set out in these Terms.

8. Refunds

Our refund approach is simple and fair:

  • If we fail to deliver what we promised, you can ask for a refund. We will look into it (normally within 14 days) and, if it is a genuine failure on our side, we will refund you.
  • We do not refund a simple change of mind once a stage has started.
  • The two stages are treated separately. The Planning fee buys your Agent Blueprint, which is yours to keep; once the Blueprint has been delivered, the Planning fee is normally non-refundable. The Build fee is refundable if the agent cannot be delivered, or does not do what was agreed.
  • We always put right billing mistakes — for example a duplicate charge or a wrong amount.
  • If you have paid but no work has started yet, you can cancel for a clean refund.
  • A refund only ever covers the Forge Studio fee you paid us. It does not cover your own AI usage or any other third-party costs, because those are paid by you directly to those providers and never come to us.

Nothing in this section removes your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. What you receive, and ownership

  • At the end of Planning, you receive an Agent Blueprint — a plain description of your agent, the approach, the tools and costs involved, the risks, what "done" looks like, and a roadmap. It is yours to keep whether or not you go on to Build.
  • At the end of Build, you receive a working agent and the things needed to run and maintain it.
  • You own your project, your data, and what is built for you. After handover, we keep only the limited information described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Forge Studio keeps ownership of its own platform, methods, designs, and software, which are not part of what you own. You agree not to copy, resell, or imitate Forge Studio itself.

10. Using Forge Studio responsibly

You agree to use Forge Studio lawfully. You are solely responsible for the agent you build, for how it is used and operated once it has been handed over to you, and for obtaining every licence, approval, registration, and regulatory clearance that applies to it in your field and in your country. Forge Studio is not responsible for how a delivered agent is used.

We reserve the right to decline to build, or to stop building, anything we reasonably consider to be unlawful, harmful, or outside what the service is intended for.

Where an idea touches a sensitive or regulated area, we will raise it with you during Planning so that you can decide how to proceed — but responsibility for compliance, for any approvals, and for any human review involved in running your agent remains entirely yours.

11. AI has limits

Forge Studio and the agents built with it use AI, which can make mistakes or produce inaccurate results. Outputs are not professional advice. You should review important results yourself, and seek qualified professional advice where it matters.

12. Other services we rely on

Forge Studio works alongside third-party services, including our AI provider, our payment provider, and the hosting and email services that run the platform. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for failures or changes in services we do not control.

13. Availability

We aim to keep Forge Studio available and working, but we do not guarantee it will always be available or uninterrupted. We may update, pause, or change parts of the service.

14. Our responsibility to you

We do not exclude or limit our responsibility where it would be unlawful to do so — this includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, and for your statutory rights as a consumer.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent allowed by law:

  • we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses, or for loss of profit, business, or data; and
  • our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount of Forge Studio fees you have paid us for the stage the claim relates to.

15. Suspending or ending the service

  • You can stop using Forge Studio at any time.
  • We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or use the service unlawfully.
  • What happens to your data afterwards is set out in our Privacy Policy.

16. Your privacy

How we handle your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of your agreement with us.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make an important change, we will take reasonable steps to let you know. The version that applies to a purchase is the one in place when you make it.

18. Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of any mandatory protection, or of any right to bring proceedings, that the law of your own country of residence gives you.

19. Complaints and contact

If something is wrong, please contact us first at hello@forgestudio.uk and we will do our best to put it right.
